Server Lists
This tab allows you to create a new list or edit an existing list of Windows Terminal
Servers for this session configuration.
Use Browse... to display the
available Terminal Servers and use Add
to add servers to the list.

By default all disconnected sessions are automatically restored. A Disconnected session is one that is temporarily
interrupted using the Disconnect option of the Windows Start
menu (Start > Shut
Down > Disconnect),
or by simply closing the session window without logging off. In this case,
the user is automatically reconnected to the previous session and
can continue working in the same application exactly where they stopped
before disconnecting.

Options
Server List
This option lets you restrict user access to certain Windows Terminal
Servers while at the same time taking advantage of the Load
Balancing function. To
do this, create
a list of servers under Server List that are to be accessible in the network. Use one of the Search...
or Add... buttons to
create this list.
Depending on the options selected in the group
box Connect a connection is established automatically to the server with the shortest response
time, or you can select the server yourself from the responding server
list.
Broadcast
If several terminal servers (a terminal server farm) are employed within your organization,
you may take advantage of the function Load
Balancing with this option. A
request to connect is sent to all servers participating in the network.
All terminal
servers within the server farm can be contacted and selected. The
connection is made to a particular server using the settings selected
on this tab, e.g. the first responding server, the server with the least
load, etc.
Depending on the options selected in the group box Connect
a connection is established automatically to the server with the
shortest response time, or you can select the server yourself from the
responding server list.

The broadcast connection type does not work
with connections over the Internet, as most routers do not allow broadcasts
to pass.
